Helping honor individuals whose dedication shaped the arts & culture community in the Pittsburgh region
About the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Gala + Icon Awards
The Gala + Icon Awards, organized by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, is its annual event in which it gathers the most influential citizens of the region to celebrate the organization's work in support of the arts community. For the second consecutive year, the Trust honored three individuals whose work has helped shape the arts and culture environment in Pittsburgh by awarding them with the prestigious Icon Award.
The event takes place at the Greer Cabaret Theater for a meet-and-greet, followed by dinner at the Benedum Center, and culminates in a show produced by Trust to honor the Icon Awards.
This year, the Gala + Icon Awards had PNC Bank as its lead sponsor.

My Role
As part of the team dedicated to designing the event, my role was to utilize my creative direction skills to create the event's key art and translate it across a wide range of media used across the Gala + Icon Awards. From the program book to registration envelopes to the motion design used on screens during the Icon Awards, I helped create the night's atmosphere at the event, contributing to its success.
