About Creative Mornings
CreativeMornings is a breakfast lecture series for the creative community. Every month a different speaker is chosen to present a lecture on a specific theme, picked by one of the chapters. Its headquarters is located in New York City and you can reach different chapters all over America and outside the country.
The request
Nathan Darity, a social entrepreneur and great enthusiast of Creative Mornings, was invited by Kate Stoltzfus to be the new host of the Pittsburgh chapter. As part of the process to be accepted, the headquarters solicited a video, in which Nathan could talk more about himself and his ideas for the CM PGH.
The concept
To show the CM headquarters that he was ready for this big opportunity, Nathan went to Graham's, an old school barber shop in Pittsburgh, to have a good haircut and his beard done. In the meanwhile, he called to friends and family to find out what he could tell about his personality.
